The Making of "Finn": Arcane Fan Art: Zbrush + Blender

This is a speed sculpture in Zbrush, turned stylized render in Blender. I made a timelapse "Making of Video" you can check out if you are interested (links below). It was important for me to approach this more sculpturally then painterly because I wanted it to hold up in lighting with movement. So I tried to minimally paint lighting in with this. I also didn't try to make this 1 to 1 with what they did on the show but also maintaining likeness. Very much this is an exercise with speed so certainly took some pretty big short cuts with specific details (like with some of the tattoos).

Pipeline was Zbrush Sculpt/ Lowpoly and Uv's, then polypaint To: Substance painter for bakes and texture authoring To: Blender for Stylized Rendering.
