3D Concept Sculpt of a young women made in Blender. This was a random study that was inspired by a rough sketch I did. I wanted to challenge myself by making an appealing female head from imagination totally in Blender.
-I love to paint in 2d and I find blending 3d with 2d from a painters perspective to be one of the most exciting things. I hope this will inspire some folks to create.
Incase you're wondering... "Hey is this AI?". I have included a Timelapse video with narration "The making of" this sculpt. But it is worth noting I was definitely mimicking the render style of some of those AI Sculpt images we've all seen at this point. To be clear, this is a totally unique concept I made and you won't find anything quite like it anywhere else. The link to the "Making of" can be found here: https://youtu.be/xSAJx78YH2w
I used Blender for most everything, but I did hop into Rizom UV briefly to unwrap the head and haircap. I also used Substance Painter for the little bit of texturing I did to the head, as well as the hair cap. If you're curious to know more about the process I'd def. encourage you to watch the making of video. And if there are some questions you have that I didn't cover, I'm happy to answer in the comments.
Thanks for looking!
