3D Print: Stylized Alien Drone

As planned I followed thru with the 3d Print of this model I made previously: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/vbB8xx

This was also hand painted using mostly Army Painter, and Games Workshop Paint. The 3d printer used is Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra with Rapid Standard Resin.

This was my first time 3d printing my own model, definitely will do something things differently next time. Overall though, it was just a theory I could even do this, so happy I was able to pull this off. I learned a lot and I'm sure I'll do better next time.

You can read more about the 3d portion of this process if you visit the link I posted above. But essentially, this started off as a ipad for zbrush sculpt. The plan from the start was to try to 3d print this, so very much the concept originated with this in mind. Also worth mentioning, the project in general was heavily inspired by Gabriel Soares work (he has quite a few 3d printed models on his website)... but of course totally different subject matter being that this is "Aliens" fan art.

You'll also notice I made an amiibo size model (which I'm currently painting). Part of the original idea was to make my own Aliens Amiibo, but I also thought it would be cool to have a larger statue version (seen painted here). I'll probably update this post with images of the final "Amiibo" version when I'm done with that.
