Fighter

I was inspired by the awesome comic artist Nesskain HKS so I started recreating one of his scenes in 3d. You can see his work here: https://www.artstation.com/nesskain and the concept I worked from that he created can be found below.
The goal was to see how stylized I could make something in Marmoset and stay true to the original concept. I also wanted to have everything running real time with no need for photoshop composite work. The meshes were auto-retopologized and auto uv’d in zbrush for speed. I originally intended to release this with the marmoset viewer so people could see it in 3d as well, unfortunately; marmoset viewer doesn’t currently support the Dota Shader fully (which is how I achieved this look) so it doesn’t export as intended. However, I included a video of me moving around the scene as a second best option.

I worked on this over a few months of lunch breaks at work. If anyone is interested in how I created the shaders I would be happy to give more info.

I replaced some of the original images as I got a great cell shader from "almighty_gir": http://polycount.com/discussion/190160/girs-toolbag-3-shaders Which does more of what I wanted originally.
